Welcome to the 2008 Evergreen Classic Horse Show web site. Our goal is to provide you all the information you need about the show, whether you’re an exhibitor, trainer, sponsor, vendor, or spectator. The show ran from Wednesday August 6th through Sunday August 10th and was brought to you by the Washington Hunter-Jumper Foundation.

The Evergreen Classic featured the top hunter/jumper riders in the region. Our special events included the $40,000 Evergreen Classic Grand Prix and the new $10,000 International Hunter Derby. This was a “AA” rated USEF horse show and a World Champion Hunter Rider event.

We were very excited to return to Remlinger Farms Equestrian Park for our second year. This beautiful site is nestled along the Snoqualmie River in downtown Carnation with scenic views of the Cascade Mountain Range and Mount Rainier.

This year, the Evergreen Classic was part of the new Northwest Summer Circuit. This three-week circuit was in partnership with Thunderbird Show Park in Langley, BC, just two hours from Carnation.

· Congratulations to Rich Fellers (jumper) and Corene Smith (hunter), winners of the $10,000 top rider bonus money from the Northwest Summer Circuit.

· Rich Fellers and Gyro win the $40,000 Evergreen Classic Grand Prix.

· Steve Sanville and Palladio win the $10,000 Legacy Hunters & Jumpers USHJA International Hunter Derby.
