Welcome to the 2011 Evergreen Classic Benefit Horse Show web
site. The 2011 show ran from Wednesday August
10th through Sunday August 14th and was brought to you by the Washington Hunter Jumper Foundation.
The Evergreen Classic featured the top hunter-jumper horses and riders in the region. Our special events included the Evergreen Classic Grand Prix and the International Hunter Derby. This was a "AA" Hunter and Jumper 4 rated USEF horse show and a World Champion Hunter Rider event.
Our lead charity beneficiary is Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center. This wonderful organization provides equine-assisted therapies for children and adults with disabilities. Their mission is to improve the bodies, minds, and spirits of children and adults with disabilities through equine-assisted therapy and to be an inspiration and educational resource to the therapeutic riding profession, both regionally and nationally.
We again enjoyed the beautiful Remlinger Farms Equestrian Park as our show site for the fifth year. This beautiful site is nestled along the Snoqualmie River in downtown Carnation with scenic views of the Cascade Mountain Range and Mount Rainier.
Congratulations to Brian Morton riding Spitfire for owner Linda Opdycke in winning the $30,000 Evergreen Classic Grand Prix!
